1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in Guardian Issue no. 7317 dated 3rd July,2018.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Tourist Board during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Provision of Non-Consultancy Services to Manage Swahili International Tourism Expo (Site)
3. The Tanzania Tourist Board now invites eligible Consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include (i) Understanding of the assignments,(ii) Description of Similar assignments,(iii) Experience in similar condition,(iv) Availability of appropriate skills among key staff etc. The assignment is for Three (3) years which will be reviewed and renewable.
4. Interested Consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants “may not” associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement 2 Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the “Quality and Cost based” selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of The Secretary, TTB Tender Board, Tanzania Tourist Board, Utalii House , along Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road/Laibon street, Plot No.1, Oysterbay Room: PMU Office Email: administration@tanzaniatourism.go.tz from 09:00 to 15:30 hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be delivered to the Secretary, TTB Tender Board, Tanzania Tourist Board, Utalii House , along Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road/Laibon street, Plot No.1, Oysterbay, Room: PMU Office at 10:00 Hrs on Friday 28th December, 2018. The outer envelope must be clearly marked PA/036/HQ/2018–2019/NC/04 for Provision of Non-Consultancy Services to Manage Swahili International Tourism Expo (SITE).
9. Expression of interest will be promptly opened thereafter in Public in the presence of the bidder representatives who choose to attend in person. 10.Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
