H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania intructed every mission abroad to have its flag flying half-mast for seven days in honour of H.E. Kenneth Kaunda, alias KK, the Founding President of the Republic of Zambia who passed away on 17th of June, 2021 at the age of 97 at the military hospital in Lusaka.
Meanwhile, H.E. Job Daudi Masima, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania paid his homage, conveying his Condolences on behalf of the Embassy to Fallen Kenneth Kaunda, a true Pan-Africanist and a charismatic leader. "I touched on the cordial relations existed between Dr. Kenneth Kaunda and the First President of Tanzania Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, some hard decisions President Kaunda made during his time, and the pains he endured after his retirement."
