Tanzania National Parks has been awarded the Gold European Award for Best Practices 2020 by European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).

The European Award for Best Practices organized by ESQR annually recognizes the organizations, companies, public administrations and individuals with the best practices and results in quality management strategies. The award winning companies, public administrations and organizations are selected by ESQR based on the results of the ESQR's polls, consumer opinions, research and marquet study. The voters include companies, public administrations and organizations that have prior received ESQR awards, customers, consumers, suppliers and collaborating companies.

The selection process of the ESQR awards includes the research of public information sources, publications, and positive remarks, charity projects, chambers of commerce, university projects and exhibitions.

This award is a result of TANAPA's robust organization strategies in conserving the national parks' ressources and implementing quality service delivery standards. These are backed by positive feedback from both local and international customers. The recognition will be used as a catalyst for strengthening the efforts towards sustainable conservation of national parks, marketing and enhancing tourism efforts. TANAPA aspires that the international recognition will build confidence to the international markets therefore attracting more tourists to Tanzania and attain the Government projection of 5 million tourists by 2025.

TANAPA awarded the Gold category among 51 winners of the 2020 ESQR Awards which included other companies, public administrations and organizations from 39 countries worldwide.

The Tanzania Ambassador in Belgium Hon. Jestas Nyamanga will officially receive the award early next week on behalf of Tanzania National Parks in Brussels, Belgium.

TANAPA calls upon continued support from the general public, international organization, development partners and collaborators in conserving and promoting the national parks' ressources for the benefit of present and future generations.
