Some Magu District Hospital patients yesterday mourned the late President John Magufuli as a leader, who made sure drugs were stocked in health institutions without bias.
In particular they said he made sure all health centres to the grassroots were constantly supervised and provided medicine to the patients, especially Tuberculosis preventive 'isoniazid' drugs.
"Not only were the services reliable, but also given to terminally ill patients, who take them on daily basis," said, Ms. Joyce Nestory.
On her part, Ms. Wambura Kigi, who is a TB and HIV Department Attendant at the hospital said: "We all mourn President Magufuli who sacrificed his energy and time for us ordinary Tanzanians to live with dignity."
His leadership made sure the Government worked well with stakeholders including non-governmental Organisations like the Ariel Glaser Pediatric Aids Health Care Initiative (AGPAHI) through its 'Boresha' project that has been ongoing in the region."
